Grassi Alto saxophone "Prestige"
Grassi Alto Saxophone (italian) This particular model was the Top of the Line for a long time. The model was called "The Prestige" In fact a Selmer copy.
hi! can you tell me what year this sax was manufactured? I have a ida maria grassi flute and i am trying to find out more about my instrument. my flute is also a prestige model. thank you!
The Prestige models were produced during quite a long time. The Grassi flutes poped up in the sixties to my believe but quality wasn't really there. The best saxophone was made in this century. alas The widow Ida Maria Grassi died at the beginning of this century and with her the factory.
